A while back I wrote a post about all the places I wanted to go to in Dallas. Essentially, it is my Dallas bucket list. On Cinco De Mayo I was able to go to 2 of the places in one night! I really liked both places so I thought I would recap them for y’all.
For dinner we went Gloria’s! Specifically, we went to the Greenville Ave location. Personally I have enjoyed most tex-mex restaurants I have been to in Dallas. What made Gloria’s stand out is not only do they serve salsa with their chips, they also serve bean dip! Another thing that I really liked about Gloria’s is that their margaritas are strong. Not everyone likes a strong margarita, but I do! Especially because you get more bang for your buck.
After dinner we headed over to HG Supply Co. I loved this place because it has a rooftop bar with a view of downtown! I just love being outdoors and the twinkle lights were a great touch. This bar/restaurant also has drinks like frozen moscow mules and frose which I thought was really cool.
Not only did I like the specific places I checked off my bucket list, I enjoy being in the Lower Greenville/Knox Henderson neighborhood. There are so many cute restaurants and shops, and the vibe is a little more laid back than other areas in Dallas I tend to hang out.
