The start of the holiday season often means a lot of traveling for many people. My flights during the holidays tend to be around 4 hours. The podcasts I usually listen to during my work commutes don’t seem to cut it for my more lengthy travel times. This is when I turn to audiobooks instead! For anyone who also has long travel times during the holidays, here are my 3 favorite audiobooks.
How to Be a Bawse: A Guide to Conquering Life Lilly Singh
While this book is not written in the format of a traditional self help book, it does a great job at motivating you to take control of your life. The tone of the book is very lively without being heavily focused on humor.
Motivational and Funny
Scrappy Little Nobody Anna Kendrick
This book is motivational because it gives a backstory to how Anna Kendrick got to where she is today in her acting career. However, it is completely balanced with comedy because Anna is the best at making fun of herself in my opinion.
Mother, Can You Not? Kate Siegel
If you are in the mood for something that is completely comedy focused this is your audiobook. It is a compilation of embarrassing stories the writer’s mother has put her through.
