Recently I have gotten better about giving myself enough time in the morning to look nice(ish) for work. However, I still have mornings where I want to stay in bed as long as possible. On those mornings dry shampoo is my best friend. In college I used dry shampoo even more so I have ended up using a few different brands. I thought I would compare the ones I have tried so people will know how to make sure their trick to getting ready quickly is actually effective.
I would recommend this one for someone who isn’t looking for something heavy. This isn’t my go to because usually I want something that absorbs a lot of oil but it is still decent. It leaves my hair smooth and it smells fresh. For me this is a good back up if the store I am at doesn’t have my favorite.
Next up is my absolute favorite dry shampoo! I like the original and the ones that match your hair color. Sometimes the white shows up but I don’t have too much trouble blending it in. For me this one can make my air completely matte while still leaving my hair soft. I also love the smell! This one is heavier than Pssst in my opinion but for me, If I am going to use dry shampoo I want it to truly do its job.
I really do not like this one at all. It smells alright but it almost left my hair feeling dirtier. I don’t know how to exactly describe it but all I know is it didn’t make my hair feel any cleaner. My hair may have looked slightly better but it felt gross.
This doesn’t even scratch the surface of the dry shampoo market but hopefully the comparison of these three options might help you with your decision the next time you are at the drugstore, Ulta, or Target.
